A woman and her dog have been helped to safety after breaking down on the A404.
The incident, which happened last week, saw a Thames Valley Police roads policing unit from Taplow come to the rescue.
A woman had broken down in a live lane on the A404 near Henley.
A Thames Valley Police spokesperson said: "Officers were only too happy to help Monty and his owner to safety.
"He came complete with his own hi-viz jacket."
Since the rescue, the woman has sent a lovely thank-you email to the force.
