A new kebab shop is coming to town, boasting healthier 'award-winning' food.
I am Doner has announced the store will soon open in Datchet.
Located on Datchet Green, 7 Slough Rd, the store is set to open this summer in a deal, facilitated by Seeds Consulting, that will see Four Crosses Filling Station Limited, operate the first I am Doner on a roadside forecourt.
I am Döner Chairman, James Hacon said: "We are thrilled to sign this latest franchise deal and look forward to working together with Lawrence Wells and the team at Four Crosses.
"This deal perfectly aligns to our strategic vision of proving the flexibility of our brand not only on high street and in neighbourhoods locations, but into roadside locations, travel hubs, universities and other concession environments."
I am Doner was started in 2016 by Chef Paul Baron and is now also backed by Think Hospitality.
Paul started a revolution from our little takeaway shop in Headingley in 2016 inspired by a trip he had to Berlin.
He wanted to make the Döner kebab more than a "guilty pleasure for the intoxicated".
A spokesperson for I am Doner said: "Traditionally you think a kebab as a bit of doner meat on pitta bread with some iceberg lettuce, but we are no stereotypical kebab shop.
"We use a total of 120 ingredients in the six kebabs we make. We have ten items of salad, feta cheese, homemade bread, homemade sauces and the highest quality meats.
"Because of this we attract a good bunch of sober people and have a very strong lunchtime offering as well as the evening trade."
I am Doner's menu comprises of Kebabs with a selection of chicken, doner, vegan doner and cheeses, as well as street cart fries, rice boxes, salads and sides.
Director of Four Crosses Filling Station Limited, Lawrence Wells said: “I have been on the hunt for a food brand to go on my forecourt and when I came across I am Döner I knew it was a great fit with nothing like it in the area – I can’t wait to showcase the brand later this summer.”
The store will be the fourth in the UK, with branches already open in Headingley, Harrogate & Leeds City Centre.
