THE sentencing of a paedophile has been delayed due to his lack of defence counsel in court.
David Alder, of Thorney Lane South, Iver, was due to be sentenced at Reading Crown Court on Monday (May 22) after pleading guilty to three counts of make indecent photograph/pseudo-photograph of a child.
The 47-year-old was caught making category A, B and C photographs of a child between April 19, 2021 and June 28, 2022 in Slough.

His hearing has now been adjourned until Friday, June 9 as Alder did not have a defence barrister present in court.
He previously pleaded guilty to the offences at Reading Magistrates Court on February 3 this year.
