SLOUGH motorists using the M40 today have been warned of road closure after a serious accident.
The M40 is currently closed in both directions between Junctions 9 and 10 following a serious road traffic collision.
Thames Valley Police Roads Policing said: "The northbound carriageway is likely to remain closed for several hours."
South Central Ambulance Service and air ambulances have been called to the scene.
The Police have said it hopes to open the southbound carriage as soon as possible, with updates later.
