SLOUGH Labour Group’s reign over the council has come to an end as no party has taken control of the local authority following the dramatic 2023 borough election. Here are the winners and losers.
The town will see some old and senior faces leave the council, such as Balvinder Bains (Lab) and Satpal Parmar (Lab), and also see new faces coming in.
Twenty-one Conservatives won this year’s all-out election, which saw new wards, 18 Labour defended their seats, and the Liberal Democrats made a surprise comeback with three candidates winning a seat.
Here are this year’s winners and losers. The winners are marked in bold.
