A supermarket giant has confirmed it will be shutting down its store within a Slough shopping centre.
Iceland, which is currently situated in the Queensmere Shopping Centre, has made the decision to close.
It comes after the long-awaited redevelopment of the centre began in January, where the western side of the site was closed to the public, with shops either closing or relocating.
From June 5, the store will cease trading in the shopping centre.
However, it has been announced that from June 6 Iceland will be moving on to the High Street, in a move which will cause minimal disruption for customers.
A spokesperson from Iceland said: “Across Iceland and The Food Warehouse we have a portfolio of over UK 1,000 stores and continually review the retail experience offered to our customers as local shopping patterns change and shop leases expire."
It is not yet known what unit Iceland will be moving to in the High Street.
