Slough Observer Camera club member Andrew Graham Lacey Hewitt shared his images of Slough in 2020.
The images reminisce on when Tang's Chinese buffet restaurant offered a tasty treat after a movie at Empire Cinema, which closed abruptly on December 8, 2022.
Another shot of the high street shows Starbucks next to Burger King - both of which have now closed.
A new O2 shop has recently opened in the old Starbucks store.
Also lost from the high street is Peri-Peri.
Looking barren without punters coming and going, The Brickhouse stood empty - but post-pandemic it continues to serve the community.
Meanwhile, Chancellors, Roosters and The Moon and Spoon appear unchanged on today's high street.
- What store, takeaway or restaurant do you miss most from Slough high street?
