A man has been charged for a series of robberies from high streets in Slough and Maidenhead.
Harry Bampton, aged 25, of Hill Farm Road, Taplow was charged yesterday (April 13) with three counts of robbery and two counts of blackmail.
The charges are in connection with a robbery that happened in Maidenhead High Street on November 2 last year, a robbery in Slough High Street on March 21, two incidents of blackmail in Maidenhead High Street on April 9 and another robbery that happened in Cookham Road in Maidenhead on Monday, April 10.
Bampton appeared at Reading Magistrates’ Court today (April 14) where he has been remanded in custody to appear at court on a date yet to be set.
