Drivers were warned of congestion in Slough on Good Friday.
Both the M25 and M40 are hit by heavy congestion this morning, the traffic alert service AA warned.
There are delays of five minutes and delays increasing on M25 anticlockwise between M25 and J16 M40 J1A.
Average speed in the area is between 10 and 20 mph.
The M25 was congested near Heathrow with AA warning of slow moving traffic both ways near Iver.
Traffic on the M40 from Handy Cross J4 to Beaconsfield Services J2 was slow on the westbound lane, the AA showed.
