The lives of two much loved local performers who died tragically young last year will be commemorated in a special gig at Colnbrook Village Hall later this month.
Keith Hughes (59) and Rob Ingram (43) were long-standing members of Colnbrook Amateur Stage Theatre (CAST).
Rob was due to direct Cinderella in January, while Keith was set to sing in last October’s show Reactivation.
Despite battling cancer Keith triumphed in the show - five days later he died at home surrounded by his family.
Rob’s sudden death was totally unexpected and a shock to everyone.
The tribute memorial gig on Saturday, April 15 will feature the popular, locally based band !daft! and will raise funds for a bursary to enable young potential performers to join CAST’s junior group CAST Academy.
Friends and supporters of CAST are all welcome to attend the gig celebrating their lives.
The gig will also feature memories of special moments in Rob and Keith’s CAST careers.
Tickets start at £5 and are available at ticketsource.co.uk/the-academy-cast.
