SEVERAL police cars and emergency vehicles could be seen blocking off a road in Slough last night over concerns for a man’s welfare.
Part of Uxbridge Road was shut at about 8.30pm.
A statement from Thames Valley Police said: “We are currently on the scene of a concern for welfare for a man in Uxbridge Road, near to Rochford Gardens, Slough.

“We're working with colleagues from the Royal Berkshire Fire & Rescue Service and South Central Ambulance Service.
“We would ask the public to avoid the area while the incident is being dealt with. There is no wider risk to the local community.”
