Four people reported seeing UFO's in Berkshire last year.
According to the organization UFO Identified, which gathered data from local and national media, as well as FOI (Freedom of Information) requests, a total of 497 UFO sightings have been reported across England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland in 2022.
In comparison, there were 465 sightings in 2020 and 413 in 2021, which means that people saw more unexplained phenomena last year than they previously had.
In fact, there has been an increase in sightings across all countries.
UFO's (unidentified flying objects) can often be explained away - with some sightings last year being linked to Star Link internet satellites.
However, many incidents are left unexplained.
Recent sightings:
In November 2021, strange lights were seen above Reading.
One resident reported seeing a "strange flying object" "slowly moving towards central Reading" at around 11.30pm on Friday (November 19).
While on January 30, 2022, a strange yellow glow haunted the skys above Berkshire.
The ‘mysterious’ beam turned the clouds orange in Reading and could be seen as far away as Wokingham at 5am.
Onlookers were in "awe" and speculated it could be UFOs or the Bat-Signal, but the most convincing suggestion was the light was caused by lamps used to grow grass at the Select Car Leasing Stadium.
Later in March, 2022, a mysterious blue light seen in the early hours of the morning got people talking.
The strange blue glow was spotted moving in Woodley with aliens as the first theory offered up on social media.
It remains a mystery as to what the blue lights are - which are seen every now and then over Reading.
