Here are the five Slough and Windsor stories you may have missed last week.
1. Slough men trespassed in Oxford field to poach animals
A number of men, including four from Slough, were found trespassing with intent to poach wildlife in Oxfordshire.
On January 7, 2022, officers were called to two 4x4 vehicles driving across fields in Britwell Salome shining lamps.
Officers attended and arrested the individuals before recovering the vehicles the following day.

2. Holi celebrated by hundreds as spring marked by celebration
The people of Slough came out in force last weekend to celebrate the Hindu spring festival known as Holi.
Some 450 people participated in a day of celebrations on Saturday, March 11, which included DJ and music, dance performances, a Bhangra performance and colour play.
Organisers said Holi is a time for different communities to come together and foster friendships over good food and entertainment.

3. Commissioners leave cash-strapped Slough Borough Council
Troubleshooters that were overseeing a cash-strapped council’s recovery have left the local authority.
Lead commissioner Max Caller CBE and finance commissioner Margaret Lee are no longer keeping a watchful eye on Slough Borough Council.
Mr Caller retired on March 1 after 50 years in public service and Mrs Lee resigned on March 12 for ‘personal reasons’.

4. Slough Kayani Camp gym at risk of closure amid cost of living crisis
A Slough gym has opened up about how it has been struggling with the rising cost of living.
Kayani Camp Boxing Club located in the Queensmere Observatory Shopping Centre is owned and managed by boxer Amar Kayani and his brother.
However, since last year the club has been struggling financially.

5. Windsor Great Park: New children's area to open in Savill Garden
An "exciting" new play area is to soon open within Windsor Great Park.
The Crown Estate has recently announced the opening of 'Adventure Play' which is to launch within Savill Garden this summer.
A video of the first look within the park shows a wooden village, complete with a post office.
