Owners of classic cars in and around the Windsor area are encouraged to participate in National Drive It Day.
On Sundary, April 23 Castle View will be holding a coffee and cake event where car enthusiasts can gather and showcase their vehicles.
Beginning at 10am and running until 2.00pm, the National Drive It Day is run by the Federation of British Historical Vehicle Clubs.
It is one of the first opportunities after a long winter to drive treasured car.
Robin Hughes, CEO of Castle View, said: “As great classic car enthusiasts ourselves, we thought it would be fun to host a coffee stop for anyone in the West London, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Surrey areas to get their old vehicles out.
"There’s no knowing what sort of vehicles will be here on the day, but last year we had a wonderful assortment of over 25 classic sports and saloon cars."
Participants have the change to raise awareness and support amongst the public for the historic vehicle movement and keeping transport heritage on UK roads, while also raising funds for the NSPCC’s Childline.
The event will be held at Castle View, Helston Lane, Windsor, Berkshire, SL4 5GG.
To join in, drivers can purchase a ‘Drive It Day’ car plaque from just £10 at driveitday.co.uk/shop.
