A MAN has died after falling between the edge of a platform and a train that was pulling away in Slough.
The incident happened on October 17, 2021 when Stewart Gerred, 50, lost his balance and fell between the vehicle and the platform at Datchet Station.
An inquest heard that Mr Gerred, of London Road, Slough, had a lower right leg prosthetic and was under the influence of alcohol at the time of his death.

The medical cause of death was given in coroners court as one of multiple Traumatic Injuries
Assistant Coroner Alison McCormick ruled the death an accident.
