Update: Police are no longer searching for Joseph Whitaker.
Police have warned the public not to approach a 'wanted' man who has failed to appear in court twice.
Joseph Whitaker, aged 32, failed to appear at Slough Magistrates’ Court on January 5 and Reading Magistrates’ Court on January 12.
Thames Valley Police are now asking for public help in locating Whitaker.
Whitaker has a local accent with a nasally voice, is around 6ft tall, and of average build.
He is a plasterer and may be wearing clothing consistent with the trade.
Whitaker is known to frequent Eton town centre, the Dedworth area of Windsor, and Slough.
Investigating officer PC Luke Jenkins said: “Joseph Whitaker has failed to appear at court twice and enquiries have been ongoing to locate him but we are now appealing for the public’s help.
“If you know where he is or may have seen him we would advise you not to approach him but please call 101 with the information you have, quoting reference number 43220366936. If you see him, call 999.
“Alternatively, you can provide information anonymously to the independent charity, Crimestoppers, by calling 0800 555 111 or via its website.”
