Residents of a property in Eton Wick were woken up in the early hours of the morning after their front door was set on fire.
At around 3.30am on Monday (February 13), the front door of a property in Queens Road was set alight.
The occupants of the property were soon alerted of the fire and were able to get out safely and without injury.
However, damage has been caused to the front door and frame as a result of the fire.
Thames Valley Police are now appealing for witnesses following the incident of arson.
Investigating officer, DC Gary Holliday, said: “Thankfully the occupants of the property were able to escape without injury.
“We are carrying out a thorough investigation to establish the circumstances and would appeal to anyone who has information about what happened to please come forward.
“Please check any doorbell, CCTV or dash-cam footage in case it may have captured something that may assist the investigation.
