The historic Windsor Trail Run event is making a return for 2023.
Organisers are excited to announce that the iconic Windsor Trail Run will be running on two event dates and three distances for those keen to go that little bit further.
Runners will be tying up their laces and setting off on Sunday, May 21, and Sunday, November 19, this year, with the choice of running 10km, a half marathon and marathon.
Each run course weaves along some of the most historic trails in the UK.
Described by organisers as ‘fun flat and fast’, the scenic course passes through a host of picturesque locations; including Bray - home to Heston’s legendary Fat Duck restaurant, Eton - where many of Great Britain’s Prime Ministers have been schooled, and one of the river’s busiest and most photographed locks, Boveney Lock.
Event Director of the Windsor Trail Run Buddy Bradbury said: "We’re absolutely delighted to return to Windsor to host this iconic event.
"The course is so incredibly special, and celebrates the very best in British heritage and history, offering a truly unique experience for runners.
"The three event distances mean that there is something for runners of all levels, and we expect to welcome beginners, through to competitive club runners looking to better their PBs.
"We look forward to welcoming everyone along to the first instalment of the event in May."
