A popular pub in Maidenhead is set to reopen on Monday (December 12) following a major refurbishment.
The Shire Horse in Littlewick, Maidenhead has undergone a full makeover with a stunning new landscaped garden area.
The pub has had a complete renovation, including new flooring and furniture as well as new furnishings and fittings, giving it a renewed and vibrant look and feel.
A new snug area has been introduced in the bar area, located in front of the open fire, providing guests with a warm and cosy atmosphere to enjoy a drink.
The bar area is also dog friendly.
Another major development is in the restaurant kitchen, which has been stripped out and refitted to double the oven capacity, enabling the pub team to meet the popular demand for food.
The pub gardens have been relandscaped to expand the capacity by 50 seats in total. New external signage has also been added to give the outside of the pub a refreshed look.
General Manager of The Shire Horse Jay Simpson said: “A lot of work has gone into the refurbishments and the changes have almost completely transformed the pub; it looks fantastic.
“We’ve got a terrific, committed team here at The Shire Horse, who can’t wait to welcome guests back through our doors to enjoy a much improved offering. The re-opening comes at the perfect time in the lead up to Christmas, we look forward to celebrating the festivities with our locals.”
Guests who visit The Shire Horse can enjoy a variety of pub classics, such as burgers, a variety of pies and desserts, as well as festive specials.
Additionally, a brunch menu is available between 9.30am to 11.00am on weekends.
