Slough's Anti-litter Society is joining forces with Slough Borough Council and local organisers to meet Santa and make a difference.
This Sunday, December 11 residents are invited to a litter picking event where they can 'meet Santa and help him to make Foxborough clean and green'.
Organised by Tirza Meinema, founder of Slough's Anti-litter Society and Foxborough Councillor Madhuri Bedi, the event will be supported by the council, Abri and Langley FC.
Tirza Meinema said: "Sunday is going to be a lot of fun.
"Dress up warm when you come litter-picking with Santa. Wear a Christmas hat, gloves and warm shoes.
"There will be a real Santa and his Furbaby, who will be wearing a red nose and antlers.
"Abri will be providing nibbles and hot drinks for all volunteers.
"The more volunteers we have, the more areas we can tackle.
"Please come along and tell your friends and family to enable us to give a little time to support the community collectively."
The group will meet at 1pm this Sunday at the Byron Centre, Longwood Park Resource Centre Common Road, Langley, SL3 8TN.
Litter pickers and bags will be provided and it is advised to bring gloves if owned.
