The cold weather has caused many of us to add extra time to our commutes, with tips and tricks flying around the internet as to how best to defrost our cars.
However which way we go about it, it is always important to ensure a clear view out of the windscreen.
This morning Thames Valley Police stopped two vehicles who failed to thoroughly defrost their windscreens, with frost and condensation restricting their view.
In a Twitter post, the police said: "Both drivers were happy to put lives at risk by driving with this limited view."
Both drivers were issued a £100 fine and three penalty points.

The force added that ironically the cars both had clear windscreens following the three minutes that the tickets were issued in.
