A teenage boy has been rushed to hospital after being stabbed in a suspected 'attempted murder' in Slough.
Thames Valley Police have reported that the incident occurred at around 7pm on Sunday, November 6 when the group were walking along the footpath from Telford Drive towards the M4 between Coe Spur and Ruby Close.
When they reached a near-by bridge, the offender ran up to them and stabbed the teenage boy.
Officers investigating this incident have arrested a 16-year-old boy from Slough on suspicion of attempted murder.
Investigating officer Detective Sergeant Georgina Adey of CID based at Slough, said: “We are investigating this assault in which a teenage boy has been injured.
“At this time we are not seeking anyone else in connection with this incident.
“We are asking any members of the public who may have witnessed this incident or may have CCTV footage that shows anything that maybe of use to our investigation to please get in touch.

“We continue our work to tackle serious violence in Slough and we are working closely with our partners at Slough Borough Council to do so.”
The boy was taken to hospital however his injuries were not life threatening or life changing.
