The Premier League, EFL, National League and FA have announced that football fixtures at all levels will be cancelled this weekend in respect of the passing of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II.

Britain's longest reigning monarch passed away peacefully at Balmoral yesterday afternoon at the age of 96.

Downing Street had confirmed this morning that there is no obligation to postpone events or sporting fixtures during the mourning period for the Queen’s death.

The Prime Minister’s official spokesman said: “There is no requirement, or obligation, to cancel or postpone events or sporting fixtures, or close entertainment venues, during this period. It’s at the discretion of individual organisations.

“They may wish to consider cancelling or postponing, particularly on the day of the state funeral, but they are under no obligation to do so.”

However the governing bodies took the decision this lunchtime to postpone fixtures.

Here are all of the matches involving Berkshire outfits cancelled:

Watford v Reading
