SOME changes will be made to bin collections in Berkshire this week as the country braces for more hot weather.
The Met Office has issued a four-day amber warning for heat across the UK.
This comes as the UK Health and Security agency (UKHSA) issued a heat health alert that covers southern and central England from midday on Tuesday until 6pm on Saturday.
The Met Office amber alert is in force from Thursday to Sunday as parts of the country will face 35C heat.

Wokingham Borough Council announced from this Wednesday (August 10) until Friday (August 12) its waste and recycling collections will start an hour earlier at 5.30am to protect the bin men from the heat.
The council is advising residents to put their rubbish out the night before collection day to avoid it being missed.
Bracknell Forest Council is also bringing its collection times forward to 6am.
Damian James, assistant director, contract service, of Bracknell Forest Council, said: “We are constantly reviewing operating conditions and in consultation with our crews, have brought forward the first collections to 6am from Wednesday, 10 August for the rest of the week.
"The health and wellbeing of our staff is our priority and we make sure they are given fresh water and regular breaks, especially when working in warmer weather.”
