A ROAD in Maidenhead was closed in both directions following a crash between a car and a lorry earlier today (July 22).
Thames Valley Police confirmed the collision was between a Silver Volkswagon Golf and a lorry, which happened at around 10.38am on Bridge Road, Maidenhead.
Road closures were in place but have since been reopened.

A spokesperson for Thames Valley Police said: "Thames Valley Police attended the scene of a road traffic collision between a Silver Volkswagon Golf and a lorry, which happened at around 10.38am this morning on Bridge Road, Maidenhead.
"Road closures were in place for a short time but have all been removed now that the vehicles involved have been recovered.
"The Silver Golf is thought be a stolen vehicle and had been picked up by ANPR and had failed to stop for officers before it crashed following a short pursuit."
Officers said the occupants, two men, suffered "minor injuries", and one was taken to hospital as a precaution.
The TVP spokesperson added: "Both men have been arrested on suspicion of a number of offences. No one else was injured at the scene."
