A TASTE of Italy has landed in the heart of Windsor as a new pasta bar has officially opened to customers.
Mamma Mia Café Pasta Bar welcomed visitors to its new cuisine in Windsor Royal Station.
The Italian restaurant, which is open seven days a week, was started by business partners Reza, Chris and Monica.
It offers a range of pasta, pizza, artisan coffee, homemade cakes and ice cream.

Co-owner Monica said she wanted to create an Italian restaurant that reminded her of “warm, gregarious Italian hospitality back at home”.
And she wanted to offer dishes exactly the way her mum makes it in Rome.
Monica believes Italy’s diverse cooking is the “heart and soul” of their restaurant.
The pasta bar is inviting customers to enjoy a meal in its large garden under the arches of the old Windsor Station and also a takeaway option.
The owners said: “Mamma Mia offers freshly baked, hand-made slices of Al Taglio style of pizza encompasses the very essences of Roman cuisine.
“Produced with a variety of different toppings that change daily.”
The restaurant also has a wide range of homemade cakes and ice cream, which are available every day.

“They’ll make it for you fresh, with love.”
Councillor Samantha Rayner said: "It’s great to see a new independent Italian cafe opening in the heart of Windsor adding to the fantastic range of eateries we have to offer locals and visitors.
"Windsor has recovered strongly since covid and is able to attract significant investment in the local economy."
