FIRE crews rescued a driver trapped in a car following a crash in Stoke Poges on Sunday.

Emergency crews from Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service were called to Stoke Poges Lane at 1.55pm on Sunday, July 17.

Firefighters received a call from Thames Valley Police to reports of a crash near to the mosque.

Crew from Slough Fire Station were sent to the scene as wlel as one fire and rescue officer.

One person was found trapped inside a car involved in the crash.

A spokesman from RBFRS said: "Upon arrival, crews found a road traffic collision involving two vehicles, with one person trapped inside one of the vehicles.

"Crews worked to remove the person from the vehicle, before placing them into the care of South Central Ambulance Service.

"Crews were on the scene for approximately 52 minutes."
