DOG owners have been warned to not keep their dogs in car during the hot weather.
Thames Valley Police is reminding people with a pooch to not lock their four-legged friends in the car as it causes them 'serious harm'.
TVP Roads Policing team said: "Hot weather and animals in cars don't mix.
"If you take your pet with you make sure you don't leave them locked in the car.
"This can cause serious harm and suffering.
"Think about how you feel getting into a car that's been sat in the sun. Your pet feels that too."
