A SCHOOL pupil in Slough had her day made when she received a letter back from Her Majesty The Queen.
Nuzla, a student at Phoenix Infant Academy, on Warrington Avenue, wrote a letter to Her Majesty asking her to meet her “kind teachers” and invited her for lunch.
And the school were excited to share the response Nuzla got back.
The letter stated: “The Queen wishes me to write and thank you for your letter.
“Her Majesty was pleased to hear from you and, although unable to do as you ask, The Queen is glad to know how much you enjoy your school.”
Some information leaflets were enclosed with the letter and The Queen thanks Nuzla for writing to her.
Nuzla is now the second pupil at the school to get a letter back from the Queen.
Year One student Nikhil Rullay also got one earlier in the year after spending days writing his letter asking the Queen to visit.
He included in his letter the things he likes about his school, the school dinners her prefers and what The Queen would enjoy about a visit to Phoenix Infants.
Nikhil was “ecstatic” to have received a response from Her Majesty.
