A VENUE in Dorney said there is “never a dull moment” when hosting a film crew at its site.

Dorney Court, on Court Lane, Dorney, has been lucky enough  to be the location for an upcoming movie or TV series in recent weeks.

The manor house, which also hosts weddings, said it couldn’t reveal what was being filmed there but was happy to share some exciting photographs with us.

It confirmed the crews have been set up for a while and wrapped filming yesterday (June 14).

Recently Dorney Court has played a starring role in the Netflix hit series Bridgerton, featured in crime and comedy film Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels and the Queen classic, Bohemian Rhapsody.

But what big movie or TV series could have been filming there recently?

A spokesperson for Dorney Court said: “Hosting a full crew is always fun and involved almost total chaos, heavy machinery and the odd thespian.

“Combining this with a 600-year-old building, three small children, two dogs and weddings at the weekends ensure there is never a dull moment.

“Fortunately, being open to the public for tours in August offers respite when our visitors get to enjoy a look at rooms that have recently featured in Bridgerton (X-rated), the Essex Serpent and Witchfinder.”
