A SPECIAL flypast is set to take place in honour of Her Majesty’s Platinum Jubilee this bank holiday weekend.
The formation of more than 70 aircraft, including the Red Arrows, will be flying high over Buckingham Palace on Thursday, June 2 to complete the Queen’s birthday parade
After the flypast has taken place in London, the aircraft are expected to fly over parts of Berkshire.

According to militaryairshows.co.uk, the flypast will start in the vicinity of The Wash, the North Sea and Southwold on the east coast, before heading over Suffolk and Southend, Thetford and Colchester towards London to overfly Buckingham Palace.
After that, the group will disperse to the south and west of the London Control Overzone – over Buckinghamshire, Berkshire, Surrey, Kent, Oxfordshire, Gloucestershire and Wiltshire.
Here are the times to catch the Platinum Jubilee flypast this Thursday over Berkshire:
Slough/Royal Borough (Chart Area E) – Between 12.40pm and 1.15pm
Reading/Bracknell (Chart Area G) - Between 12.50pm and 1.30pm
