A 28-year-old man has been charged following the attempted murder of a 60-year-old man in Langley last weekend (May 22).
This was following an incident in Market Lane where he was attacked with a weapon.
Ben Donnelly, 28 of Scholars Walk in Langley was charged with attempted murder and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place on Sunday, May 22.
Thames Valley Police were called to the scene at 1.20am where the 28-year-old was arrested.

The victim was rushed to hospital after suffering ‘life-changing injuries’ where he has since been discharged.
A 53 year-old man and 45-year-old woman who were arrested following the incident have since been released following the charge of Donnelly.
He has been remanded in custody until he appears at Reading Crown Court on June 20.
On Sunday 22, Investigating officer, Detective Sergeant Thomas Harman said:
“We believe this was an isolated incident, because the suspect and victim are known to each other. As such, there is no threat to the local community.
“Further, I would like to reassure the community that a thorough investigation is being carried out, and we have arrested a man on suspicion of attempted murder and aggravated burglary. He remains in police custody at this time.”
