A swan stuck between a boat and the bank of an island in Windsor has been rescued by volunteers.
The swan was waterlogged and had injured himself trying to break free from the gap on Bath Island on May 22.
Swan Support and two residents helped to push the boat and rescue the bird, after third man raised the alarm.

“It’s likely he was chased in there by another swan and then was unable to turn round to get back out,” said Swan Support.

The swan is being rehabilitated by Swan Support.
“He is doing remarkably well and we hope to release back into the flock in a few days,” they said.
