DRUM rolls and a right royal fanfare coupled the big reveal of the official restaurant opening date for The Ivy Windsor.
The Observer can exclusively reveal that The Ivy will be opening its new brasserie on Tuesday, May 31.
For many weeks, locals and tourists alike have been eager to hear more on the new restaurant opening after posters went up in the High Street windows earlier this year.
In the past week, The Ivy teased online the venue would be 'opening soon' and now has revealed its plans to open just in time for the Queen's Platinum Jubilee.

The new restaurant will be taking over the unit at 31 High Street, across the road from Windsor Castle.
In celebration of the opening, The Ivy enlisted its own 'Ivy band' to take to the streets of Windsor to shout about the news.
From today, the restaurant is taking reservations ready for the opening on May 31.
The venue - holding about 140 guests - has been designed in its signature fashion with floraldesigns, marble flooring, soft furnishings and pendant lighting - plus will include artwork inspired by the local area.
