AFTER a supermarket chain announced its Slough store is set to close, SEGRO is keeping its lips sealed following recent social media rumours.
SEGRO is said to be “considering a number of options” for the future of the Sainsbury’s Farnham Road site.
But what everyone is wondering is what shop is going to take its place.

Social media rumours have suggested it may be an Aldi replacing it, but owners SEGRO isn’t revealing anything just yet.
Other readers have said they think it could become a Morrisons.
A SEGRO spokesperson said: “We’ve been informed that Sainsbury’s will not be renewing its lease on Farnham Road.
“We are considering a number of options for the future of the site; however, no final decisions have been made.”

A spokesperson for Sainsbury’s stated staff are currently being supporting in helping them find alternative roles within the company.
The Sainsbury’s store will officially close later this month.
