CANDIDATES vying for your vote at this year’s Slough election have been revealed.
Local elections are taking place on Thursday, May 5, 2022, and 14 councillor positions out of the 42 seats are up for grabs at Slough Borough Council.
The local elections will see one candidate elected in each ward, except for Foxborough.
This will be the last election to take place by thirds as the council is set to move to all-out elections from 2023 where every councillor stands for election every four years all in one go.
The government rejected the Labour administration’s request to postpone this year’s election, believing it was ‘illogical’ to spend £187,000 on an election that would not change who runs the council.
Current councillors are represented with a *.
