Magnet Leisure Centre
The MAGNET Leisure Centre swimming pool is one of the many old attractions in Maidenhead which have closed that our readers really miss.
The indoor pool with jacuzzi's and children's slides was opened over 40 years ago.
Now Cheeky Charlies, the swimming pool slides and disco halls which have attracted millions of visitors to Maidenhead since 1974 lie abandoned.

In 2021 the centre closed down making way for the new Braywick Leisure Centre.
