A JAPANESE-inspired menu has just launched at a boutique hotel near Maidenhead.

Karma Sanctum on the Green, in Cookham Dean, is a nine-bedroom 17th century coach house.

And its restaurant, the Mole and Badger Pub and Shokudo, has transformed its menu, which will be overseen by three-time Michelin star executive chef Garry Hollihead.

Owners Mark and Sherene Fuller have introduced the new food as an alternative dining option for village locals and regular guests to enjoy.

On weekends, a Japanese-inspired afternoon tea will be on offer featuring aged wagyu beef sliders, salmon tartare and matcha panna-cotta with freeze fried raspberries accompanied by blends of Japanese tea and sake-infused cocktails.
