A TEENAGER is struggling to pay for her dad’s funeral who died following a battle with cancer.
Paulina Waszkun, 19, of Slough, is calling the community to help her pay for the funeral costs to give him a “good send-off”.
Her father, Adam Waszkun, lost his battle to bowel cancer on January 25 at the age of just 44-years-old.
Paulina explained her dad was her only family and how everything happened so fast.

She said: “The chemo just couldn’t help him anymore as his body had got so weak.
“He started to deteriorate and was no longer able to eat or drink.”
Paulina explained that although he’d been struggling, he always kept positive.
She said: “He was a bit of a stubborn guy and we’ve had a rough life but he always tried so hard to make us happy and to make memories together.”

Now she’s started a GoFundMe page so she can afford Adam’s funeral.
Having raised £95 so far, Paulina said any donations are truly appreciated.
She added: “I want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart, I really appreciate them.
“I’m all that he had, he always made me laugh even at his lowest.
“He truly is my best friend forever and he will forever be my hero.”
