FILMING for Amazon Prime's new Lord of the Rings prequel is taking place in the Royal county.
According to online national media reports, filming for the second season of the Lord Of The Rings prequel TV series is set to begin in Maidenhead next spring - after moving locations from New Zealand.
Sources have revealed to Variety the UK filming locations for the fantasy show and Bray Studios on Water Oakley Lane is one of them.
They said that Bray Film Studios and Bovingdon Airfield will be the initial production facilities used to film the big-budget series. Pre-production is set to begin in the second quarter of 2022.#

Films such as Mamma Mia and Rocketman are among the productions to have used the studio, as well as the series Bodyguard and Dracula.
Amazon Studios confirmed earlier in the summer the second series of JRR Tolkien's classic book will be filmed in the UK and now it is being reported that part of it is likely to be filmed at the famous Bray Studios.
