1. Mercedes driver from Slough fined hundreds for speeding on M4

A man from Slough must pay more than £340 for speeding on the M4 in a Mercedes.  

Omar Ali, 30, from Poyle Road, was driving 11 miles per hour over the speed limit near junction four when he was caught by a speed camera.

2. Family's moving tribute to man killed in crash in Slough

The family of Grzegorz Bondar, who died following a road traffic collision in Slough on October 19, have released a tribute to him.

It reads: "It is with great sadness that we regrettably announce the tragic loss of my brother, Grzegorz Bondar, who died unexpectedly in a terrible accident.

3. Slough boy kidnapped in car park

A teenage boy was snatched from a community centre car park but made a lucky escape when police intercepted the kidnappers.

The victim was forced into the back of a car at Manor Park Community Centre Car Park before officers stopped the attempted offence.

4. Maidenhead town centre attack: Slough men arrested

A terrifying attack in Maidenhead saw a man suffer a fractured face and nose.

Police said at about 4.15am on Sunday, November 7 a man was attacked by three men on West Street.

A ten-floor skyscraper in Slough could have gone up in flames in what would have been a ‘nightmare scenario’ after a woman lit two small fires in a ‘cry for help’.

The woman, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has been in prison since the incident in March 2021.
