A LANGLEY playground has its own ‘Sistine Chapel’ as volunteers complete works on an ‘inspirational’ mural.
Foxborough residents, fire crews, and volunteers from GoodGym helped spruced up a wall that was in dire need of a makeover at Grampian Playground.
Artist Alesea Martino painted inspirational wording and pictures on the wall thanks to Akzonobel donating over £2,000 worth of paint from the Changing Rooms programme.

To celebrate its unveiling, the Dulux dog and the Channel 4 crew will be at the playground to mark the occasion on Wednesday, September 15 at 2pm.
Due to the council’s financial situation, Foxborough councillor Madhuri Bedi (Ind), who spearheaded the campaign, said her community investment fund was frozen and could not bring the project forward.
But community spirit and generous donations made the project see the light of day.

Cllr Bedi said: “The response I have had from residents has been incredible, as has the joy I have seen on children’s faces which will stay with me for always. You may know the African proverb “It takes a village to raise a child”.
“Each one of you has been part of that village and I do not have words enough to thank you.”
