A gang left a man with a brain injury after attacking him outside a Maidenhead pub on Monday.
Four white men, all in their late teens, left him unconscious on the floor outside The Rose pub in King’s Street at 1.20am.
The victim, in his thirties, sustained a bleed on the brain and remains in hospital.
A 19-year-old man from Maidenhead was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and has been released on bail.
Investigating officer, Detective Constable Rebecca Stevens, based at Maidenhead police station, said: “I am appealing to anyone who witnessed or knows anything about this incident to please come forward.
“Anyone with information can contact police by calling 101 or making a report online, quoting reference 43210388771.”
