A Rolls Royce drink-driver has been fined more than £3,000 after he was caught at double the legal limit.
Salman Iftikhar, 33, of The Poynings in Iver, was drunk behind the wheel of the luxury car on the A4 in London, approaching the M4, on July 9.
As well as being under the influence of alcohol, cannabis was also found in his possession.

At Westminster Magistrates’ Court on July 26, Iftikhar pleaded guilty to drink driving, cannabis possession and failing to stop a vehicle when required to by a constable.
The court heard how when he conducted a breath test, Iftikhar gave a reading of 78 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 micrograms.

Iftikhar was fined £3,000 for drink driving and a further £500 for failing to stop. He was also banned from driving for 20 months.
He was also ordered to pay £275 costs to the court, and the cannabis was forfeited and destroyed.
