A SLOUGH woman with a ‘flagrant disregard for people and their property’ has been jailed after stealing pans from The Range.
Samantha O’Grady, of Stoke Poges Lane, stole a vacuum and a set of pans belonging to the budget homeware store in Slough worth £119.98 on July 7, 2021.

She also assaulted a man in the town on the same date.
These offences, which she admitted to, were carried out while the 47-year-old was serving a suspended sentence for six counts of theft from a shop.
O’Grady was sentenced at Slough Magistrates’ Court last week where she learned she will serve 12 weeks behind bars.

This is because the court said she had a “flagrant disregard for people and their property, [and] because the offence was aggravated by the defendant's record of previous offending[.]”
She was also told to pay a £128 victim surcharge.
O’Grady appeared in court via video link on Wednesday, August 18.
