A SLOUGH man used a stolen bank card to buy £44 worth of food at McDonald’s, a court has heard.
Michael Ruan, of Newport Road, Slough, admitted to two counts of fraud by false representation at Reading Magistrates’ Court earlier this month.
This comes after the 42-year-old used a stolen bank card to purchase £44.17 worth of food from McDonald’s in Slough on August 29, 2020.

And two days later, on August 31, 2020, the Slough man used a stolen bank card again to buy £22.54 worth of goods from a Co-op store in the town.
Ruan also admitted to handling stolen goods in Slough on October 25, 2020.
According to court documents, the 42-year-old assisted in the retention of store cards, a black bum bag with an ID card inside it, a Nectar card, a passport and documents belonging to four different people.

He was given a community order for the three offences he committed, meaning he will have to participate in up to 20 rehabilitation activity days.
Ruan was also told to pay £180 in court fees after appearing at Reading Magistrates’ Court on August 9, 2021.
