A recent study has naned Slough as the fifth best town for safety and wellbeing in the country.
The data was taken from an index published by Phoenix Health & Safety that analysed cities and towns from across the country.
The five contributing factors that were analysed
- Non-fatal injuries in the workplace
- Sickness absence rates
- Mental health rates
- Local crime rates
- Death rates
Slough has been named as the fifth best town for safety and wellbeing with nearby Reading ranked in fourth spot.
Other takeaways from the data showed that Swindon is the best city in UK for wellbeing and safety, whereas Wakefield was named as the worst place to work for your safety and wellbeing.
According to the index, Liverpool is the worst place to live for mental health in the UK with York named as the best place to live for your mental health.
