Plans for a new coffee shop in Windsor have been approved, on the former site of the EAT sandwich shop.
All EAT stores in the UK were closed in March 2020, with the former shop in Windsor Royal Station Parade having remained vacant since closing last year.
The external EAT signage and logos have been removed but internally much of the original partitions and serving counters etc remain.

Black Sheep Coffee Shops Ltd has now acquired the lease of the premises and plans to open a shop selling principally coffees, smoothies, waffles, cakes, pastries, and bagels.
The new Black Sheep Coffee Shop will benefit from a refurbishment of the interior, with new external signage and a customer outside seating area on its forecourt.

It is proposed to remove many of the internal partitions and remaining fixtures and fittings to create a 'more open' shop.
The proposed opening hours of the shop are 7am to 8pm Monday to Sunday inclusive.
