OLYMPIC gold medalist Tom Dean shed tears of happiness as he was welcomed back home from Tokyo tonight.
Friends, family, neighbours, swimming club members and more turned up for Tom Dean's welcome home party in Maidenhead.
The swimmer arrived with his mum Jacquie Hughes and sister in a special car which picked him up from Heathrow Aiport earlier this evening.

Dozens of people showed up, lining up down his road waving union jack flags and chanting 'Deono'.
The Olympic champ even shed a few tears as he couldn't believe the sheer volume of people who turned up to congratulate him.
