SLOUGH has been revealed as one of the best places to buy a house in the UK.
Data from the Office for National Statistics into the last 10 years of property prices across the UK explains why Slough is where you want to invest your money.
The research carried out by TIC Finance shows Slough has one of the most stable property markets in the UK.
Slough saw one fall in house value over the past 10 years and an average yearly growth of 6.4 percent, making it the 6th best place to buy property for a stable investment.

The average house price growth across the UK as a whole in April 2021 was 8.9 percent, the highest 12-month growth since October 2014.
Oxfordshire came third place as houses prices fell zero times in the last ten years, with an average yearly growth of 4.56 per cent.
The study from identifies the number of times prices fell and ranks counties by the average yearly price change.

Paran Singh, financial adviser at TIC Finance, said: "Though the property market is growing at record-breaking rates, it's always important to consider the longevity of a property investment, which is why historic changes in house price can give us more information on whether an area is a good place to buy.
"Even when buying your forever home, a property purchase is still an investment so it's a good idea to understand the market and how your investment is going to develop during the time you own it."
